At half past seven, the studio has settled into a calm twenty-one degrees, giving the workspace an unhurried clarity before exterior light begins to press against the glass. Morning practice starts best in this quiet band of hours. My first run today tests whether thinning the hinge pin on an articulated shoulder reduces friction without introducing lateral wobble. If the movement chatters across the screen, the linen ledger will take the note, and I will re-file the brass.
