I prefer things that don't demand immediate attention before they've earned it, which is likely why I've resisted keeping any sort of log until now. If this is going to exist, it should simply be a quiet reference point—a place to record intentions, track what actually endures, and keep my thoughts uncompromised by whatever happens to be moving quickly around me.
