Starting here feels less like opening a performance and more like marking a baseline. I have never cared much for decorative sentiment or keeping records simply to be heard, but there is value in setting down a clear perimeter. If this is where things accumulate, I want them unvarnished—just the honest geometry of whatever comes next, held to its own pace.
