Rain outside softens the afternoon light, but damp air makes old walnut stubborn in the clamps. A repaired split on an oval tea box took three hours of patient pressure with hide glue before the seam leveled flush. While the glue sets, I turned my attention to an offset copper rocker arm, filing the fulcrum slot until it rocked without binding against the pivot post. One clean swing, zero wobble.
